Kourtnie won his prize in the online lottery $8 Million Money Maker Second Chance game. He didnt know he won until he received a phone call from the lottery headquarters telling him that he won.

Kourtnie then drove all the way to lottery headquarters to get his money on April 10, 2026. He could choose to receive his prize as an annuity of $50,000 over 20 years, which is a terrible choice by the way, or a lump sum of $600,000.
Smartly Kourtnie chose the lump sum of $600,000 and, after pesky required tax with-holdings, he had $432,060 deposited directly into his bank account.
Weirdly enough, Kourtnie purchased a house two months ago and was paying monthly mortgage. Now that Kourtnie is rich he paid off his mortgage in full.
Kourtnie’s birthday is coming up and he plans to take his new found cash to a vacation to Puerto Rico.
