2 MURDERS IN ONE NIGHT, SEVERAL CHRISTMAS TIME HOMICIDES

7 people have been murdered in a week in Charlotte, including 2 today

A homicide occurred on December 20, 2025 on Hawthorne Lane Charlotte, NC marking the second murder in minutes of each other and the 7th murder this week during the Christmas season.

At 3:30 a.m., the victim was shot on the mentioned street. The victim was transported to Novant Hospital where he/she died. Just minutes earlier a victim was murdered on Woodlawn Road.

The Christmas holiday murder rate in Charlotte has been astronomical this year. 7 people have been murdered in a week.
