Dimas Ortez Maradiaga, 46, was arrested on October 1, 2025 in Charlotte, NC. He was operating a massage parlor in his apartment.

Dimas gave massages from his apartment in south Charlotte. A woman was referred to get massages by Dimas.
The woman went to his apartment for a massage. During the massage the suspect began to grope her breast and made comments about her breast, and body. Dimas began to massage her vaginal area.
The lady told Dimas to stop, but he did not. Dimas tried to kiss her lips, but she turned away. The woman paid him, and then left. The woman went to the hospital to get a sexual assault examination completed on herself and police were contacted.
Detectives responded to the suspect’s home and spoke with him. Dimas initially denied any inappropriate touching but after being told that the victim got a sexual assault kit done, he recanted and stated he massaged her vaginal area because she asked him to.
Dimas and his wife also admitted they run a massage business out of their home and do not have a license to practice massage therapy or operate a massage business.
Dimas was arrested on scene and charged with sexual battery, practicing massage therapy without a license and operating a massage business without a license, health law free text, and 2nd degree forcible sexual offense.
