MAN KILLED IN HEAD ON COLLISION WITH SUV

Shakeem Chaney, 25, was killed on May 29, 2024 in a head on collision that occurred in Huntersville, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Shakeem was driving a sedan vehicle. A Ford Explorer was traveling in another lane. At 4:15 p.m. the two vehicles then collided with each other on Sam Furr Road.

Shakeem died on scene. The driver of the Ford was injured and taken to Novant Health Hospital with life threatening injuries. Click here to see other Charlotte area fatal crashes.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
