Matthew is a 2005 graduate of Fort Mill High School in Fort Mill, SC. Matthew owns a tree trimming and tree removal business, he had substantial income to hire a powerhouse expensive attorney in the case. Family secrets are a big problem in today’s society.
Matthew had a 13-year-old daughter and another teen daughter that lived with him from his previous marriage. Matthew and the girls stayed at a home on Riverdale Dr. Charlotte, NC. Also in the home was Matthew’s current wife.
At some point in 2023 Matthew had indecent liberties with his own teen daughter. The girl was sexually abused by Matthew. The teen girl told a DSS employee, that employee then reported the sexual encounters to police.
In 2023 Matthew was arrested charged with various sex crimes. His current wife then moved out of the home.
After the sexual assault, the teen girl moved out of the suspect house and moved in with her mother in South Carolina. Matthew was ordered to stay away from the home.
In April 2025 Matthew pled guilty to indecent liberties with a child and was sentenced to 13-25 months in prison; that sentence was suspended pending his successful completion of 24 months of supervised probation.
Matthew must also register as a sex offender for 30 years.
