On March 7, 2025 Tylek Hamilton, 25, pleaded guilty to the murder of 19-year-old Audeja Sutton in Charlotte, NC. The two were boyfriend and girlfriend. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
The murder occurred on May 4, 2019 on Bending Branch Road. Another female, Tulvel McDougald was killed in the same neighborhood in January 2019.
Tylek stabbed Audeja to death. Audeja was found with multiple stab wounds on the side of the road.
At his 2025 trial Tylek pled guilty and was sentenced to 31 years in prison.
