The Tuesday night before Thanksgiving ended in murder for 22-year-old Kendric Washington.
Police responded to an apartment complex on Avebury Drive on Tuesday night after getting reports of gunshots.
Kendric was found in the common area of the apartment complex injured from gunfire.
CPR was performed, but Kendric didn’t make it.
Crime Scene Search responded to the scene, as well as Representatives of the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Homicide Prosecution Team, Operations Command, and Victim Services Team.
