In a unprecedented series on events, two murders have now occurred on the first day of 2019 in Charlotte, NC. Both murders happened in the early morning hours.
The first murder involved a 53-year-old man.
The second murder involved Nathan Roberts, 37, on Parkway Avenue. Nathan was shot at 4:29 a.m. on Tuesday, January 1, 2019.
Nathan was sitting in his vehicle in the driveway of his residence when he was shot multiple times.
At 8:33 a.m., Nathan was pronounced deceased at Carolina’s Medical Center.
