Pastor Phillip Buckson, 32, was arrested at his South Carolina church Wednesday for sexually abusing a teenager that he got pregnant twice.
Pastor Buckson is the senior pastor at Cleveland Chapel Baptist Church.
The victim said she began having sexual intercourse with Pastor Buckson when she was 13-years-old at his residence in October 2015.
She continued to have sexual intercourse multiple times with the pastor up to the age of 15 and became pregnant on two occasions.
The victim, likely persuaded by Pastor Buckson, had abortions to terminate the pregnancies.
Pastor Buckson confessed to sheriff’s deputies about having sex with the young victim. The confession makes this case a slam dunk for prosecutors.
Pastor Buckson is 6 foot 8 and was a standout hoop star at Gaffney High School and Spartanburg Methodist College.
