Tyrone Miller, 28, (Left) has been arrested for his involvement in the murder of Elchin Khalilov, 29, (Right).
On January 14, 2019 Elchin was killed in a robbery at his cell phone store on North Sharon Amity Road, Charlotte, NC.
As a result of continued investigation into this case, the homicide detectives identified Tyrone as a suspect and obtained warrants for Murder, Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, and Firearm by Felon.
Earlier today, authorities developed information as to the whereabouts of Tyrone. As a result of collaboration with the FBI and the Dallas Police Department, Tyrone was located and arrested in Dallas, Texas.
Upon extradition, he will be transferred to the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sherriff’s Office.
