U.S. MARSHALLS ARREST BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT FOR PROBATION VIOLATION

Date:

United States Marshalls arrested Sadiq White, 33, in May 2019 for a federal probation violation and or supervised released violation.

The FBI says that Sadiq served as the getaway driver in a PNC bank robbery. In 2012 two suspects robbed the PNC Bank on East Boulevard Charlotte, NC. Upon the robbery FBI officials state the suspects fled and were picked up by Sadiq in a waiting vehicle. Sadiq and the other suspects were eventually arrested.

Sadiq violated his probation in May 2019 and was subsequently arrested. Government attorney Matthew Warren moved to keep Sadiq in jail; federal Judge David Cayer agreed and ordered Sadiq detained upon his arrest.

Federal documents show that Sadiq did not show by clear and convincing evidence that he would not flee or pose a danger to people or the community.
