Surveillance video shows the moment Tyrese Garner, 19, attacked five TSA officers while attempting to barge through a security checkpoint at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in Arizona. Tyrese was reportedly under the influence of a substance. Several officers required medical attention.
Tyrese was arrested, charged with suspicion of felony criminal trespassing, felony resisting arrest and five counts of misdemeanor assault.
The TSA issued the following statement:
“This unprovoked and brazen physical attack against our TSOs is unacceptable. We are grateful for our committed workforce and for the role they play in protecting the traveling public every day. We continue to monitor the safety and health of the TSOs involved in this incident and will cooperate fully with the ongoing investigation.”
