22-year-old Joshua Griffin, Jr. was killed on Sunday morning, according to officials.
On June 23, 2019 at 6:00 am, authority personnel responded to Pinewood Circle, Mint Hill, N.C. for an unresponsive male.
Upon arrival, Mint Hill Police along with Mint Hill Fire Department personnel observed an unresponsive Griffin who was pronounced deceased at the scene. The investigation in coordinated efforts with the N.C. State Bureau of Investigation, is considered a homicide investigation.
This does not appear to be a random act and there is no perceived threat to the general public.
