I-85 SHUT DOWN IN BOTH DIRECTIONS DUE TO SUICIDE THREAT ON BRIDGE

I-85 is shut down in both directions near West W.T. Harris Blvd. Charlotte, NC due to a possibly suicidal person on a bridge. 

Attempts are being made to talk the person down near exit 45.

All traffic is blocked off.

In May of this year a man commit suicide on I-77 in Charlotte, NC.
