ENTIRE LATINO HOUSEHOLD ARRESTED INSIDE OF HOME ON IMMIGRATION CHARGES

Date:

The Department of Homeland Security conducted a joint enforcement action that disrupted a stash house operation resulting in the apprehension of several individuals in Laredo, Texas.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:00 p.m. on August 5, when agents received information about suspected illegal immigrants being harbored at a residence on Cortez Street in Laredo, Texas. Agents raided the house and discovered six illegal immigrants.

Immigration raids were promised by the United States Government in July 2019.

Agents conducted immigration inspections on the people and determined that all were illegally in the United States. The nationalities of the individuals included citizens of Guatemala, Mexico, and Honduras. All of the individuals were found in good health and were processed accordingly.

Human smugglers continue utilizing local homes and businesses as a staging point for illegal immigrants.
