On March 27, 2018 Eastcrest Drive Charlotte, NC a man was shot.
Officers located the victim with a gunshot wound to his upper left arm. Officers applied a tourniquet to the victim’s arm and the victim was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. The officers swift response in applying the tourniquet likely saved the life of the victim in this case.
Information and evidence gathered during the course of this investigation led detectives in identifying Mr. Coleman as a suspect in this case. Warrants were obtained for his arrest. He was located on August 9, 2019 and peacefully taken into custody without incident by the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team.
