BOJANGLES GETS 85.50 HEALTH GRADE, SANITIZER BUCKETS WERE PLACED NEXT TO FOOD

Date:

The Bojangles on 3301 Wilkinson Blvd. Charlotte, NC received a horrible 85.50 health score on Halloween 2019 during a health inspection. The B score is not good at all for a restaurant.

The inspector observed 2 sanitizer buckets stored on prep surfaces next to food. Toxic materials are suppose to be stored away from food to avoid contamination.

The manager with certification was not present at the start of the inspection. The person in charge arrived later in the inspection.

A black build up was observed on the shield of the ice machine. There were 2 pans with food debris and grease on them that were stored as clean. The inspector ordered the pans be removed and to be re-washed.

Also, employee jackets were stored on the dry storage shelf with food.
