A victim was shot and killed near the intersection of Willilyn Lane and Huntwood Drive in Charlotte, NC on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, around 8 a.m.
The victim suffered from an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased on scene. Sadly this is the 13th homicide in Charlotte during the Coronavirus outbreak.
17-year-old Qa’dir Alverest was shot and killed overnight on April 7, 2020.
