Carl Southerland, 43, is charged with the the murder of Brandi Anderson, 41.
Brandi was shot and killed on Sunday May 3, 2020 on East Sugar Creek Road Charlotte, NC in the early morning hours. Brandi was pronounced deceased on scene.
As a result of the investigation, Homicide Unit detectives identified Carl as a suspect in this case, and warrants were issued for his arrest.
On May 5, 2020, Carl was located and arrested by detectives. Carl is charged with murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
