MOM AND BOYFRIEND ARRESTED AFTER CHILD DIES FROM BEATING TRAUMA

Following a death investigation of a 4-year-old child, a Rock Hill, SC mother and her boyfriend were arrested. 23-year-old Jackleen Mullen and her boyfriend 26-year-old Audrevious Williams are both charged with Homicide by Child Abuse or Neglect. The child had cocaine in its system at birth 4 years ago in 2016 which prompted Jackleen to be arrested then.

On May 26, 2020 Rock Hill Police were advised of a possible child fatality in Rock Hill, SC. Officers responded to the residence on Gentle Breeze Lane and located a 4-year-old child dead inside the home. The child, who had special needs, was found stuffed in a dresser.

The dead victim showed signs of trauma from beating and respiratory distress.

As a result of the investigation, detectives arrested the child’s mother and her boyfriend. A judge denied bond for Jackleen and also told her she can’t have any contact or communication with her two other children while the case is pending.
