Zion Garcia was shot and killed on August 21, 2020. So far 3 people have already been arrested for his murder. Jahmel Williams, 27, is the newest suspect in this case, Jahmel was arrested on August 23, 2020; prior to that Jalen Meggett, 21, and Nyla Burnett, 18, were also charged with Zion’s homicide on August 22nd.
The police violent criminal apprehension team located and arrested all three suspects. Zion was shot on August 21, 2020 at apartments on Firelight Lane Charlotte, NC.
Several people were seen running from the scene at the time of the shooting. An effort was made to catch the people that were running away, but no one was located. Zion was driven to the Valero gas station on Albemarle Road after being shot. An ambulance picked him up at the gas station, but he died moments later at the hospital.
All 3 suspects are charged with first degree murder, conspiracy to robbery, and robbery.
