SUSPECT CHARGED WITH MURDER AFTER WOMAN HIT BY CAR AND DIES

26-year-old Kendra Bagwell is the first homicide for 2021 in Charlotte, NC. Jason Mosley, 32, is charged with Kendra’s murder. Kendra was killed on January 4, 2021 on The Plaza Rd.

In the early afternoon a motor vehicle collision occurred. Kendra and another pedestrian were struck by a vehicle driven by Jason. Both pedestrians were taken to the hospital where they were treated for their life-threatening injuries. 

However, Kendra was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving at the hospital. The second victim remains in critical condition. Jason was reportedly uninjured.

It is alleged by detectives that Jason intentionally caused the collision to harm the victims. Jason is charged with murder, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injuries, and driving while impaired.
