On February 7, 2021 Khalil Sifford, 16, was shot in the head at a party on 6630 East W.T. Harris Blvd. Charlotte, NC. The party was for a student athlete that attended a high school in Charlotte.
Around 11 p.m. shots were fired and Khalil was shot in the head. The loud sound of shots sent people running in all directions in a very chaotic manner. Khalil was pronounced deceased on the scene by medics.
Two other individuals suffered minor non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to area hospitals. A 16-year-old female fell after the incident and was transported to Atrium Health Hospital. A 50-year-old male suffered head trauma and was transported to Atrium Health Main.
