Frankie Jennings, 32, was shot and killed on his birthday March 23, 2021 as a team of U.S. Marshals approached him at a Citgo gas station in Charlotte, NC.
Around noon, Frankie was at the Citgo gas station near the intersection of The Plaza and Parkwood Avenue. Frankie was pumping gas when several U.S. Marshals ran up on him quickly and tried to arrest him on several felony warrants.
During the warrant service, one of the U.S. Marshals perceived a lethal threat and fired a service weapon, striking Frankie.
Frankie was pronounced deceased on scene by paramedics. A firearm was recovered at the scene.
Frankie leaves behind kids and a loving family.
