SUSPECT ACCUSED OF SEXUALLY ASSAULTING WOMAN IN UPTOWN CHARLOTTE

Aljaquan Hugue, 37, is charged with sexually assaulting a woman in uptown Charlotte, NC on East Trade Street.

On April 16, 2021, at approximately 5:52 a.m., the female victim stated she was walking on East Trade Street when she was pushed to the ground by Aljaquan. The woman stated that Aljaquan proceeded to sexually assault her. 

The woman screamed for help and several nearby G4S security guard officers heard her. But Aljaquan fled on foot, however, he was apprehended shortly afterwards by the G4S security guards.
