2 MEN GET IN SHOOT-OUT AT CAROLINA PLACE MALL SHOOTING

On Saturday May 1, 2021, around 5:30 p.m. Kevion Harris, 32, and Jamie Williams, 24, were in a shoot-out with each other at Carolina Place Mall near Charlotte, NC. 

Kevion and Jamie were in an altercation that then led to several shots being fired. The men shot several shots at each other. Both men were injured. The shots sent mall staff and customers running to the nearest exit. 

Kids were seen screaming and clinging to their parents. A flurry o 911 calls were made. Police responded to the shooting and immediately evacuated the mall and searched for any victims. 

Officers located one of the suspects who was injured and transported by medics to
a local hospital. A short time later, the second suspect arrived by personal vehicle at Atrium Health Pineville with a
gunshot wound. 

Both of the suspects have serious injuries. At this time they are both recovering from their injuries at area hospitals. Once Kevion and Jamie are released from the hospital they will be arrested and charged with possession of firearm by convicted felon and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill/inflict serious injury.
