Jalin Brown, 20, was arrested on charges that he broke into a cupcake business in Charlotte, NC.
Video shows the June 20, 2019 break-in occurred at Gigi’s Cupcakes located on 4732 Sharon Road.
The suspect had broken a window to enter Gigi’s Cupcakes and then stole the cash register.
The lead detective received responses from multiple detectives in other patrol divisions who recognized the suspect.
Officers located Jalin by tracking the electronic monitor he was court-ordered to wear while awaiting trial on unrelated commercial breaking or entering charges.
