On February 28, 2021 video captured three men participating in an armed robbery at Jay’s Smoke Shop in Milford, Massachusetts. The robbery was at 8 p.m. Two men carrying guns entered the store and demanded cash. One suspect immediately rushes the clerk at the cash register to steal money.
The second suspect harassed another employee and stole merchandise. The suspects got into a waiting white sedan vehicle driven by a third suspect.
A officer was nearby and saw the suspect car speeding and driving with its lights off. The suspect driver then ran a red light and collided with another vehicle in the intersection. The driver of the vehicle that the suspects collided with was injured and taken to a hospital for treatment.
The suspects ran from the crash scene on foot. A police helicopter unit along with K-9 units were called in, but despite massive search efforts the suspects were never caught.
