“On September 23, 2019 Desmin Logan, 30, was charged with the murder of Ismael Doumbia. Mr. Doumbia was killed in a robbery at a Shell gas station where he worked. Desmin was identified as a suspect and warrants were issued for his arrest.

The robbery occurred at the Shell gas station on Freedom Drive in Charlotte , NC at 3:20 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019.
Desmin is accused of entering the gas station, robbing and shooting Mr. Doumbia before fleeing the scene. Upon being shot Mr. Doumbia was transported to Atrium Health Carolina’s Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Mr. Doumbia was pronounced deceased a short time later at the hospital by medical staff.
Desmin is charged with murder and attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.”
