LATINO CREDIT UNION ROBBED FORCING BRANCH TO CLOSE ALL DAY

On May 6, 2019 at approximately 12:54 p.m. a bank robbery occurred at the Cooperativa Latino Credit Union located on 5910 South Boulevard Charlotte, NC. The robbery forced the branch to close for the day.

A suspect entered the credit union and passed a note to a teller stating to hand over cash. The suspect fled the scene with money from the credit union. The suspect is described as a black male, being approximately 5’3” in stature, wearing a beige shirt and dark ball cap with a tan emblem in the center of the ball cap.
