BLOOD GANG MEMBER CAR-JACKS MAN AT GUN POINT, SENTENCED TO 12 YEARS IN PRISON

Jordan Williams, 25, was sentenced to 12 years in prison on March 3, 2021 in Charlotte, NC. Jordan was convicted on carjacking and firearms offenses. Additionally Jordan was ordered to serve five years of supervised release upon completion of his prison term.

On June 2, 2019, at approximately 2:45 p.m., Jordan and a co-conspirator approached a male victim at the parking lot of the victim’s apartment complex in Charlotte, NC.

Jordan pointed a firearm at the victim and ordered the victim to hand over his cell phone, wallet, and car keys. The victim complied, and Jordan ordered the victim to lay down on the sidewalk or Jordan would shoot him.

Jordan and his co-conspirator fled the scene in the victim’s Jeep Grand Cherokee. Cops on duty located the vehicle shortly thereafter. Jordan crashed the stolen vehicle while attempting to evade the police. Both suspects were arrested. The co-conspirator has not been convicted yet.

In March 2020 Jordan pleaded guilty to carjacking and brandishing a firearm during, in relation to, and in furtherance of a crime of violence. Between 2014 and 2016, Jordan was convicted of multiple counts of breaking and entering and other felony convictions. During his incarceration for these crimes in 2017, Jordan admitted to being a member of the United Blood Nation (UBN) or “Bloods” gang.
