80-YEAR-OLD WOMAN GETS HER PURSE SNATCHED BY 2 MEN

Date:

Two men are wanted in a felony larceny purse snatching case that occurred on Monday September 24, 2018, at noon. A 80-year-old grandmother had her purse taken by two men. The elderly victim had visible bruising to her face as a result of this incident.

The victim reported that she was leaving a physical therapy appointment at OrthoCarolina on 3541 Randolph Road when she was approached by a black male in the parking lot. The victim reported the suspect then tugged on her purse as she was trying to get inside her vehicle causing the victim to fall to the hot pavement hitting her face.

The suspect then ran away on foot in an unknown direction. The victim was transported to CMC Main for treatment.

A short time later the scumbag criminals used the victim’s credit card at the Burlington Coat Factory located at 4726 South Boulevard.

The black male pictured here with the long dreadlocks wearing the black shirt and black pants matches the description of the person responsible for the purse snatching. The second black male wearing the white shirt and blue jeans used the victim’s card while inside the store.
