Teyhonnah Daye, 20, was found shot to death early Saturday morning March 28, 2020 in Statesville, NC in the midst of the Coronavirus outbreak. The shooting happened just after 2:30 a.m. on Fifth Street when a large crowd was gathering for unknown reasons.
Several shots were fired by suspects that have yet to be arrested. Young Teyhonnah was found lying in the street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency personnel immediately started performing CPR. Teyhonnah was taken to the hospital, where she later died.
