Rebeca Susta, 23, was arrested and charged with child abuse regarding a 5-year-old girl.
The encounter is alleged to of occurred at apartments on Lodge South Circle Charlotte, NC.
The victim advised an adult that Rebeca struck her several times with a cord, causing swelling and bruising. The suspect’s intent was to cause injury and punishment toward the victim, according to the investigation.
The victim is expected to be okay.
