17-year-old Javion Sanders was killed after he was shot in a north Charlotte home. Javion succumbed to his injuries at Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center on April 27, 2020.
On April 24, 2020, Javion was shot at a home on Catalina Avenue Charlotte, NC. Javion was sent to the hospital, but he didn’t make it, as he died on April 27.
A juvenile suspect voluntarily turned himself in for the shooting and was subsequently interviewed by detectives. At the conclusion of the interview, the suspect was charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury.
Murder charges are now expected for the suspect.
