45-year-old Shohel Mahmud is an Uber driver, he was pepper sprayed in the face by a female passenger in New York city on August 2, 2024. The suspect is identified as Jennifer Guilbeault, 23.
Jennifer and another woman are in the back seat of the Uber vehicle getting a ride. As Shohel is driving, stopped at a red light, Jennifer climbs to the front seat and pepper sprays Shohel in the face for no reason.
Shohel tries pushing Jennifer off of him. The second woman in the back seat grabs Jennifer and tries to stop her. The friend yells, “Jennifer, why did you do that, what did he do?!”
Shohel gets out of the vehicle and calls 911. Police later arrested Jennifer and charged her with assault.
