On April 20, 2024 a city bus driver was attacked by a passenger in Oklahoma City. The fight caused the bus to slam into a building.
The altercation started when an unruly passenger asked the bus driver to stop at an intersection, the intersection was not a designated stop so the bus driver said no.
The passenger then became upset and approached the driver while he was operating the bus.
The passenger is seen hitting the driver multiple times. The driver is yanked from his seat in a bombardment of punches, all while the bus is still in motion.
The bus driver is thrown to the aisle and the bus veers off the road and slams into a brick building.
The crash shatters the bus windows and injures a few passengers. The passenger was arrested and charged with assault.
