A person was just stabbed on the CATS bus, similar to the Iryna Zarutska homicide
A person was stabbed on a Charlotte city bus on November 6, 2025 in Charlotte, NC. The stabbing is reminiscent of when Iryna Zarutska was stabbed to death on a Charlotte CATS light rail train, watch the full video here.
The stabbing today occurred around 5 p.m. on North Tryon Street. The victim was stabbed by a suspect and began bleeding profusely. The suspect ran off the bus.
The bus driver radioed in medic and police. The victim was taken to the hospital via ambulance with serious life threatening injuries. There’s no information on what led up to the stabbing or a suspect.
