Furqan Grice, 18, and Anthony Goodson, 18, were arrested for their involvement in the murders of both Ibn Marshall, 17, and Anu’bius Smith, 19.
On February 27, 2019 Ibn and Anu’bius were located in a vehicle on Grandin Road Charlotte, NC. They both were shot, and died on the scene. A third man was also shot, but survived.
Drugs were found on the scene, which is a huge indicator that the homicide was the result of a drug deal gone bad.
As a result of the continued investigation into this case, Homicide Detectives identified Furqan and Anthony as suspects and obtained warrants for their arrest.
On February 28, 2019, Homicide Detectives arrested Furqan. This morning, March 1, 2019, Anthony was also arrested.
