TWO SHOOTINGS IN ONE NIGHT SPREAD THROUGH OUT CHARLOTTE

Two people have been injured following two separate late night shootings in Charlotte, NC on September 3, 2020.

The first shooting was on Catherine Simmons Ave. in west Charlotte. The adult female victim was outside at a neighbors residence in the common area of an apartment complex when she was shot in the arm by an unknown suspect. She was transported to the hospital where she is being treated for non life-threatening injuries.

The second violent shooting was on South Tryon Street. An adult male was shot and was transported to the hospital by paramedics. The victim is related to the suspect. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle and has not been located.
