Two Amazon workers at Charlotte, NC area facilities have tested positive for the deadly virus known as COVID-19.
One of the infected employees works at the fulfillment center on Old Dowd Road in Charlotte. The other infected Amazon employee works at the sorting center in Concord, NC.
Amazon spokesman Timothy Carter says:
“We are supporting the individuals who are recovering. We are following guidelines from health officials and medical experts, and are taking extreme measures to ensure the safety of employees at our site.
At least 11 Amazon warehouses have had workers diagnosed with Coronavirus cases. Amazon has more than 500,000 employees in the United States alone.
