POWER OUTAGE IN UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, SEVERAL BUILDINGS WITHOUT POWER

There is a power outage currently in uptown Charlotte, NC that occurred on November 9, 2019 around 8 p.m. The cause of the power outage is a damaged underground cable.

Commercial businesses are being evacuated due to fire code. Duke Energy has been notified.

The area affected includes the intersection Trade St. and College St and Tryon St. and ending at the intersection where 9th St. intersects with both College St and Tryon St.
