Demario Tillman, 29, was fatally shot on May 23, 2020 right before Memorial Day 2020. Demario served time in the United States military. 27-year-old Darryana Hearn was charged with Demario’s murder.
On Saturday, May 23, 2020, an assault with a deadly weapon was reported on Hovis Road. Demario was shot after a verbal altercation took place between him and Darryana.
Homicide Unit detectives identified Darryana as a suspect and were able to obtain a warrant for her arrest. On May 24, 2020 Darryana surrendered herself to police.
Darryana is charged with Murder.
