MAN STEALS $10,000 FROM ELDERLY

Brandon Coburn, 24, (Seen here) pled guilty to obtaining property by false pretenses this month.

Brandon was friends with a elderly victim and Brandon used that relationship to exploit the victim out of $10,000.

Brandon used the victim’s bank card without consent to make purchases and cash withdrawals on multiple occasions. Brandon was eventually arrested for his crimes and charged with Financial Card Theft and Exploit the Elderly.

Judge Julia Gullett sentenced Brandon to 5-15 months in prison, which was suspended pending his successful completion of 24 months of supervised probation. As a condition of his probation, Brandon must pay restitution of $10,000 to the victim.
