Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Homicide Unit are conducting a homicide investigation on Barrington Drive Charlotte, NC. On December 2, 2019 shots fired were fired in the area.
As officers arrived they began performing life-saving measures on an adult male who was located in a vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was removed from the vehicle due to the vehicle being on fire. The Charlotte Fire Department arrived on scene to extinguish the burning vehicle.
However, the victim was pronounced dead on scene a short time later.
A staggering amount of murders have occurred in Charlotte this year.
