It has been a very bloody day for Charlotte as a man and a woman in separate incidents were both shot to death.
Daimeon Johnson, 40, was killed on Catherine Simmons Avenue on Sunday.
Officers responded to a shooting and located Daimeon shot. He was transported to Atrium Health’s Carolina’s Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
The police Canine Unit responded to the scene to assist, and Crime Scene Search responded to process the scene and collect physical evidence. Representatives from Operations Command also responded to the scene.
21-year-old Shalecia Williams was also shot and killed at the Heritage Park Apartments.
