The homicide was on Parkaire Lane at the Parkside South Tryon Apartments on Saturday, March 23, 2019.
Leonard was shot multiple times in the middle of the street by a unknown suspect. Leonard was transported to Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
