MAN KILLED AT 7-ELEVEN OVERNIGHT, SECOND MURDER IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS

A homicide occurred at the 7-Eleven on Brookshire Boulevard Charlotte, NC at 3:53 a.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2019. 

A male with a gunshot wound was found inside of the 7-Eleven. The victim was transported to Atrium Health Carolina’s Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased by hospital staff. 

A short time later a male showed up on Saratoga Drive with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. At this time, the relationship between the two victims is unknown.

This is the second homicide in Charlotte within 24 hours. The first homicide occurred at a strip mall when a man was gunned down.
