Xavier Simmons, 29, was killed in a a fatal motor vehicle collision wreck on March 20, 2021 in Charlotte, NC on Westlake Drive.
The actual wreck was on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at 8:36 p.m. A Toyota car that Xavier was driving veered off the left side of the road and struck a tree in the median.
The police DWI Task Force and Crime Scene Search responded to the scene to conduct the investigation. Their initial investigation revealed that the Toyota was traveling at a high rate of speed when it left the roadway and struck a tree, officials say.
Medic responded to the scene to evaluate Xavier for injuries. Paramedics transported Xavier to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Xavier eventually succumbed to his injuries that he sustained in the crash and was pronounced deceased.
