Carlos Bright, 26, is accused of shooting at several people at an apartment complex in Charlotte, NC. He was arrested and given probation prior to his trial, but he cut off his ankle monitor on June 8, 2019. Mr. Bright is wanted for Assault with a Deadly Weapon- Intent to Kill, 2 counts of Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Property, Damage to Property and Interfering with an Electronic Monitoring Device.
Mr. Bright is accused of shooting at five people at an apartment on McAlway Rd. Multiple victims and witnesses stated that unknown suspects shot at their residences and damaged their vehicles by gunfire. The suspects were shooting at a particular victim. This incident occurred near the Grier Heights Neighborhood.
Mr. Bright was arrested per the shooting and was court ordered to wear an electronic monitoring device as a condition of his pre-trial release. On June 8th 2019, Mr. Bright cut off his electronic monitor and was last known to be in the area of Briarfield Drive, Charlotte, NC.
